"I live and work in The Cotswolds on our family farm where I get much of my material; the stunning scenery inspiring landscapes and the meadows, copses and hedgerows generating more detailed studies."

Book 1 - Little Green Shoots
In Little Green Shoots, Jenny recounts her experiences as a teacher in a Cotswold primary school in the 1970’s. Illustrated in her beautiful and evocative paintings of country scenes and mellow Cotswold-stone buildings, Jenny’s amusing and warm-hearted anecdotes will remind you of a very different era of school life!
Book 2 - Four In The Fifties, Seven In The Sixties
This book is Jenny’s wry and witty account of growing up in Chelmsford, Essex and Malvern, Worcestershire in the 1950’s and 1960’s. She has illustrated it with stunning watercolours and tells the stories of her early childhood, her friendships and adventures, through to her last memorable days of primary school.
Book 3 - Home For The Holidays
In Home for the Holidays, Jenny tells the stories of many memorable visits home to Norfolk – brought to life with her wonderful illustrations. Whether you live locally or are visiting, you will appreciate Norfolk’s timeless beauty that Jenny has captured in her painting. Shortly after publication this book was recommended for the 2013 EDP-Jerrold East Anglia Book Awards.
Book 4 - Cameos Of A Cotswold Farm
Cameos of a Cotswold Farm is Jenny Henderson’s beautifully illustrated portrait of a traditional family farm on the edge of the Cotswolds. Jenny walks us through her well-observed “cameos” of a farming life – from cornfileds and coppices to “mole-hilly” grasslands. She sees kingfishers and cuckoos, sparrows in the barn and yellow iris by the stream; watches deer with their “cotton-pillow bottoms” and hears the “swish-click” of the milking parlour.
